Media buying can make ad budgets go further

If you never hire an agency or media consultant, be sure of one thing: never buy commercials; buy audience - but more importantly, buy a targeted audience.

Also, we believe that when buying broadcast, whether it be spot television, cable television, or spot radio, that the buy is only half finished after the planning, analyzing, researching, negotiating and fighting for the value-added merchandising is completed.

The other half is posting. Scrutinizing invoices and affidavits is the only way an advertiser can be sure they have received what was ordered.

If you or your media buyers are not posting your buys, then you are losing valuable dollars. It is usually the case that advertisers come up short. When this is the case, you should not pay full invoice. You should pay for only what ran and you should demand makegoods - at the very least.
